Soundscapes

I believe that soundscapes are a form of drama. In my opinion, soundscapes are a lot of different sounds that are combined in different orders to create a story. In class, we were split into two groups and had to make different sounds in a logical order to make a story. I think the main idea of a soundscape is to create a story, using sound, that an audience can see with their eyes closed. If the soundscape is realistic and is in an order that makes sense, then the audience can picture what is going on around them. It is kind of like a movie in which you have to use your imagination.
