On the Thursday before the holidays we performed our play about global issues to the M3B class, parents and teachers. I think that this performace was a very good achievment and was twice as good as any rehearsal we had done. Throughout the play we remained focused and at no point did the class come to a point where they had forgotten their lines or were not able to perform. Everyone put a lot of emotion into their performance and it had a very positive impact on the audience. One thing i think that we could have improved is to have some simple costumes and props. I think that costumes would define certain characters a lot better and make it a lot easier for the audience to understand the background and storyline of the people involved. I think that one of the best sections of our play was the beginning and end of the play. This set the tone for the rest of the play and created a good atmsphere, uniterupted by anyone in the cast or audience. The repitition of the beginning of the play at the end left the audience with that atmosphere. I think that because our play was well focused as well as serious it stopped the audience from laughing at bits which some people might have considered funny. I think the only mistake throughout the whole play was when we confused the languages at the end, but i don't think it was noticeable. I think all-in-all we performed a very smooth piece of theatre which had a positive impact on the audience.
